I'm the designer behind every line of S&L.
S&L Site Design isn't an agency — it's me. One designer in year one, giving each project the focus and care a small business deserves. No backlog of fifty clients, no templated shortcuts. Just honest, deliberate work.
Why I started S&L.
I kept seeing the same thing happen to small businesses: they 'd pay for a website and get something templated, slow, and built without ever understanding what they actually do. The site would look fine in a screenshot and fail the moment a real customer tried to use it.
So I started S&L Site Design to do it differently — one project at a time, designed from scratch, with the business behind it actually understood. Year one means I'm hungry, available, and treating every client like the one that matters, because right now, each one does.
"Your satisfaction isn't a goal — it's the only acceptable outcome."
The principles I build on.
Craft over templates
Every site starts from a blank canvas. No themes, no shortcuts — just intentional work built around your business and the people it serves.
Clarity wins
A visitor should understand what you do and what to do next within seconds. I design for that first moment, then everything else follows.
Speed is a feature
A beautiful site that loads slowly still loses. Performance and responsiveness are part of the design, not an afterthought bolted on at the end.
Your goals, not my ego
The site exists to serve your business. I weigh every decision against what you actually need — not what looks impressive in a showcase.
What I bring to every build.
When I'm not designing, I'm usually studying other people's work — deconstructing sites I admire, reading up on craft, and chasing the small details that separate good from intentional. That curiosity is exactly what I bring to your project.
Let's build your site.
Tell me about your business and I'll tell you how I'd approach it.
